The setting
A family estate in the Vinho Verde region
Sapateiro is a five-hectare family estate in Tabuado, in Portugal’s Vinho Verde region. The story began with António Soares, who sold shoes and planted vines on the family farm.
Today, Tiago Soares continues the winemaking tradition, crafting boutique wines from hand-picked native grape varieties.

What types of events can I enquire about at Sapateiro?
You can enquire about corporate events and team gatherings, birthdays and private celebrations, pre-wedding gatherings, reunions and other special occasions, as well as venue rental. Every event is discussed individually.
Can I enquire about hosting a corporate event?
Yes. Corporate events and team gatherings are welcome. Send us your preferred date, the number of guests and what you have in mind, and we will discuss your requirements with you.
Does Sapateiro offer venue rental?
You can enquire about renting Sapateiro for your event. Because every event is different, we discuss your plans, availability and the conditions that apply after receiving your enquiry.
What is included in the Group Wine Tasting Experience?
The Group Wine Tasting Experience costs €40 per person. It is a private tasting tailored to your group and led by the winemaker himself: a winery tour, then five Portuguese-cooked tapas, each paired with a unique wine. Coffee is included.
